Port of Tacoma and Tacoma Public Schools break ground on new Maritime Center!
Watch this transformative 20-acre site come to life with this video animation and mark your calendars for a groundbreaking event on January 8, from 12-1 p.m.
This site will feature the Maritime|253 skills center, providing free career and technical education for Pierce County high school students. It will also include a new Port business center and offer public shoreline access and trails along the Foss Waterway.
The public is invited to learn more and celebrate the project at a groundbreaking event in the new year.
