Students from IDEA High School recently had the unique opportunity to participate in a hands-on, creative learning experience at the former Gault site. As part of a class art design project, students toured the 7-acre property, gathering inspiration for what the future IDEA High School could become.
During the visit, students used drones to capture aerial footage, took photographs, and documented notes—all with the goal of imagining new possibilities for the space. The project allowed them to apply real-world skills in design, research, and storytelling while contributing meaningful ideas toward a potential future home for their school.
The school district continues to explore options for the site in collaboration with district staff, community partners, and the broader public. This student-driven activity reflects the district’s ongoing commitment to thoughtful planning and inclusive visioning.
Project updates, including FAQs and engagement opportunities, are regularly shared through the district’s website, social media, and email newsletters.
